Eternal Carbon

The carbon fibre layout has been strategically optimised for high strength, endurance and built to last. It is formed in one piece for a perfect featherlight monocoque with exacting alignment.

Careful fibre placement results in a stunning herringbone lay pattern that looks impressive on any bike.

This allowed to create a superb one shot mono-cell hollow structure versus the stiffness of the system.

The wheels offer a highly durable, minimum maintenance, long-life product which have been tested both in the laboratory for thousands of kilometres as well as on the trails, where we even ran with deflated tyres over rocky surfaces. Passed all tests with flying colours.

Hubs designed to aerospace engineering standards

Hubs are machined to micron tolerances (that’s the size of a bacteria) for super smooth low friction running.

The hub is capable of withstanding huge torque of up to 350 Nm. It features an ultra silent clutch and maximum efficiency commercial bearings.

With the Lavelle wheels, riding the trails is a new experience, where all you can hear is the birds singing and the wind on your face. Free stroke has been completely eradicated, offering instant drive when the rider requires it.

We partnered up with with SKF for bearing design, using bearings that withstand high impact and deliver 4x lower friction than standard assemblies.

Using environmentally sustainable processes

As a contribution to environmental sustainability we have developed an exceptionally low energy process that results in 1/10th of the energy consumption of industry standard carbon fibre manufacture.

We have developed a carbon manufacturing process that requires no harmful lacquers of varnishes.

Each wheel is hand built by our craftsman and individually signed off by quality control.
